Glenn is the Owner and President of Bland Solar & Air, Inc. Founded in 1985 as Bland Air Conditioning & Heating. The company has grown to not only be a leader in Kern County's HVAC industry, but a leading provider of solar energy systems. Glenn has been designing and installing photovoltaic (PV) systems since the 1980's. His understanding of the increased need for self-sustained, renewable energy has helped him in his decision to incorporate it into our current business operations. Glenn has included fundraising into Bland Solar & Air's everyday schedule by providing free services to our customers in return for donations made to the American Cancer Society, averaging over twenty thousand dollars per year. Glenn was also an instructor for the HVAC and Refrigeration department at San Joaquin Valley College, one of the central valley's premier technical schools.

Aside from Bland Solar & Air, Glenn has made a name for himself as an athlete in the Bakersfield area. He enjoys challenging himself physically and mentally while competing in such adventure races as the Discovery Channel's World Championships in 2001 (Swizterland). He enjoys spending time with his wife Tricia, four children, and his labrador sidekicks, Ulrich, Hooch, and Whitney.
